Dee brings a unique perspective to his music. As a Certified Arborist, he spent many years working high in the canopy of our beautiful urban forests. This unusual vantage point has helped him to create songs filled with keen observations about our natural world. You can hear it in the songs he sings. You can feel it in the deep chords and melodies he plays on his Taylor guitar, were joy and sadness meet. He loves crafting stories that will weave a safe nest for your spirit, and renew your pleasure in the mystery of life. Dee brings a warm heart, a sense of humor, and a sweet melody to walk you home!
You can hear his theme song “Folk Festival” used regularly during The “Folk Festival” radio show on WDCB hosted by Lilli Kuzma every Tuesday from 7:00-10:00 PM.
His uplifting and inspirational songs were heard frequently on the “Practical Spirituality” radio program hosted by Jim Stuart.
Several of his pieces have been arranged chorally, and are often used in spiritual services from cathedrals to schools in Kenya.
His songs written around J.R.R. Tolkien’s work have been included in a traveling theatrical production about “The Lord Of The Rings.”
